| Good Friday Service
This coming Friday (the 18th) is Good Friday. Good Friday is the day where we remember Christ’s death on the cross for our sins. Come and worship with us; we will NOT be meeting at the CCMC building (see directions below)
Directions to Our Savior’s Lutheran Church
(coming from 75th St., from the south/east/west)
- Turn north onto Washington St. (towards downtown Naperville)
- The church building is on your left
- If you pass it, and hit the second “Our Savior Lutheran Church” and Edwards Hospital, you’ve gone too far
(coming from downtown Naperville, from the north)
- Head south on Washington St., past Edwards Hospital
- The church is the SECOND building on the RIGHT that you’ll hit (not the first “Our Savior Lutheran Church” building next to Edwards)
Baptism Service
Baptism is where we get to celebrate our peers coming to know Jesus and declaring publicly that they are Christians. It’s a joyful celebration where we welcome them to our Christian family.
On Sunday April 20, there will be a baptism service, 1:15 at the Willowbrook/Hinsdale site. Come & celebrate with us. | | |
| Tomorrow (Wednesday) night, 8:00pm @ Living Water- will be our youth prayer meeting. It's after camp and also it's spring break, so if you can, come out & pray with us.
Thursday, Baptism Class 2:00p.m., Living Water- those of you interested in getting baptized on April 20, or just those of you who are interested in learning more about baptism/basics of the Christian faith, all are invited.
Attention graduating seniors & juniors too- This Saturday, 10:00am @ CCMC-Hinsdale, will be our "College prep day" for you & your parents. People like Greg Jao from InterVarsity will be there to help you (and your parents) look ahead at the college years ahead of you. It's a great opportunity to ask questions and learn more about college life. If you have questions, please let Andy, Josh, or Pastor Nick know. | | |
| Please be praying for our pastors & deacons, for:
- wisdom in making decisions
- grace in relationships with people
- being able to see & discern God's vision for CCMC
We should always be praying for our church, not just our youth group. Especially these days, with a lot of church-wide issues, it's important that those who are leading CCMC are spiritually sensitive and following God closely
Remember to bring your Spring Camp registration to Bible Study tomorrow night (if you haven't turned it in already) | | |
| 1. Tomorrow Night, 8:00pm @ Living Water- is our weekly youth prayer meeting. If you've finished your homework and your parents say ok, come pray with us.
2. Please get your Spring Camp registration in. The cost is now $135, unless 1) this is for your friend(s) coming for the first time, or 2) you've talked to Andy
